Moroccan Society For Hydrogels (MSH)
MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Welcome to the Moroccan Society for Hydrogels (MSH)
It is with great pleasure and a strong sense of responsibility that I address our scientific community, partners, and future members. The Moroccan Society for Hydrogels was established with the ambition of creating a national and international platform dedicated to the advancement of hydrogel science and technology.
Hydrogels play a pivotal role in many strategic fields, including biomedical engineering, regenerative medicine, drug delivery, environmental protection, agriculture, and sustainable materials. Through MSH, we aim to foster excellence in research, encourage interdisciplinary collaboration, and promote innovation that responds to societal and industrial challenges.
Our society is committed to supporting researchers, students, and professionals by providing opportunities for scientific exchange, training, networking, and leadership. By organizing conferences, workshops, webinars, and collaborative initiatives, MSH seeks to strengthen Morocco’s position within the global hydrogel research community.
I warmly invite academics, clinicians, industry partners, and young scientists to join us in this collective effort. Together, we can contribute to shaping the future of hydrogel science, advancing knowledge, and transforming research into impactful applications.
Thank you for your interest in the Moroccan Society for Hydrogels. I look forward to your active participation and collaboration.
Prof. Mohammed Berrada
President, Moroccan Society for Hydrogels (MSH)
The Moroccan Society for Hydrogels (MSH) is a non-profit scientific association, established in accordance with the provisions of the Dahir of November 15, 1958, governing the right of association in the Kingdom of Morocco.
Its headquarters are located at the Faculty of Sciences Ben M’Sik, Hassan II University of Casablanca.
The primary mission of the MSH is to promote scientific research, innovation, and knowledge development in the fields of hydrogels, biomaterials, and advanced polymeric materials, as well as their applications in biomedical, pharmaceutical, environmental, industrial, and technological sectors.
MSH aims to foster scientific exchange, interdisciplinary collaboration, and knowledge transfer among researchers, academic staff, engineers, PhD candidates, students, and professionals, both nationally and internationally.
In line with its mission, the Moroccan Society for Hydrogels pursues the following objectives:
To organize international and national congresses, conferences, seminars, webinars, workshops, thematic schools, and specialized training programs in the fields of hydrogels and biomaterials.
To support the education, training, and mentoring of young researchers, PhD students, and students through scientific and pedagogical activities.
To encourage interdisciplinary research, innovation, and the development of hydrogel-based solutions for biomedical, pharmaceutical, environmental, and industrial applications.
To promote the use of digital tools, modeling, simulation, and artificial intelligence in the design, characterization, and optimization of hydrogels.
To develop national and international partnerships with universities, research laboratories, public institutions, private organizations, and scientific societies.
To establish a scientific communication and collaboration platform connecting stakeholders in the hydrogel field in Morocco and worldwide.
To valorize scientific research outcomes and contribute to technology transfer, innovation, and sustainable development.
The Moroccan Society for Hydrogels is open to any individual or legal entity sharing its values, objectives, and scientific interests.
The Society operates through the commitment of its founding, active, and honorary members, and is governed by its statutory bodies, including the Executive Board, specialized committees, and the General Assembly, in accordance with its statutes and internal regulations.
Through its initiatives, the Moroccan Society for Hydrogels aims to position hydrogels as a strategic driver of scientific research, technological innovation, and advanced training, thereby contributing to the international visibility of Moroccan science and its integration into the global ecosystem of advanced materials research.
